FAQs

1. Do you open for all year Term Holidays?
Answer - We open for all Half terms.
Autumn half-term - October
Spring half-term - February
Summer half-term - May
Easter holidays - All three weeks
Summer holidays - All six weeks
  • Please note we DO NOT open for the christmas period holiday.

2. How many weeks in the year are you open for?
Answer - We are open for the following 12 holiday weeks in the year:
Autumn half-term - 1 week
Spring half-term - 1 week
Summer half-term - 1 week
Easter holidays - 3 weeks
Summer holidays - 6 weeks

3. Do we need to pay for all the holidays?
Answer - No you only pay for the holidays you want your child to attend.

4. When do we inform the club of the days we want our child to attend?
Answer - At the beginning of the week you would need to give your bookings for staff to plan for your child effectively.

5. Do you provide food and drinks to the children?

Answer - Yes we provide fresh food made from scratch in our kitchen to the children. Children are given fresh drinking water and plenty of drinks throughout the day to keep them nourished.

6. What kind of activities are planned for the children?
Answer - Different age/stage apppropriate activities are offered to the children keeping their interests in mind.  For a full list of summer term activities please download our time table.

7. Do you take children for outings?
Answer - We regularly plan day trips and outings for the children. For more details please see the activities timetable.

8. Do we need to book the whole week?
Answer - No you can select days or sessions as per your requirements.

9. Are there any discounts given on the fees?
Answer - We offer 10% sibling discount if you bring 2 or more children to the club.

10. Are there any registration fees?
Answer - Yes there is one-off registration fee of £50 which is only paid the first time you register your child with us.

11. How do I register my child?
Answer - You can register your child by visiting the club and completing the holiday club registration form.

12. Where can I get the holiday club registration form?
Answer - You can download the registration form from our website, or visit the club and pick one up from the manager.

13. Are all staff qualified and CRB checked?
Answer - Yes all staff are fully qualified and CRB checked. Barley Mont Holiday Club is part of a preschool, breakfast and afterschool club which is Ofsted registered and  fully inspected.

14. Do we have webcam facilities for parents?
Answer - Yes we have webcam facilities for parents to log in and see their children themselves.

15. Is there a manager on duty to supervise the club?
Answer - Yes at all times there is a fully quialified manager on duty to supervise staff and all activities at the club.

16. Do I need to pay for all 6 weeks of the summer or all 3 weeks of easter holiday?
Answer - No, you need only pay for the Sessions you have booked.
